Realme X7 5G, X7 Pro 5G with MediaTek CPU launched in India: Price, bank offers and specs

Realme X7 5G comes in two variants while the ‘Pro’ model comes in just one. Prices start at ₹19,999.

After building months of hype around its new Realme X series smartphones, the company today finally launched it's a Realme X7 5G and X7 Pro 5G handsets in India. The X7 5G is said to be India's first smartphone that is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset.

It comes in two variants and is priced at ₹19,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version and ₹21,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. This will go on sale starting 12 February, 12 PM IST onwards on realme.com, flipkart.com and mainline channels. The Realme X7 Pro 5G is powered by the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor and comes in a single variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage. Priced at ₹29,999, this will go on sale starting 10 February, 12 PM IST onwards on the same portals as the X7 5G.

Realme X7 5G, X7 Pro 5G offers and discounts

Realme has also launched its upgrade program, wherein the consumers can experience the X7 5G and X7 Pro 5G by paying 70% of the cost. This program is available on Flipkart in partnership with Flipkart Smart Upgrade plan and also in Realme mainline stores.

There are some bank offers on these handsets as well. You can avail flat ₹2,000 discount with ICICI bank credit card and EMI transactions on realme.com. Users can also opt for flat ₹1,500 instant discount via Axis bank cards and EMI transactions on Flipkart. In addition, users will be entitled with no cost EMI of up to 6 months.

It's worth mentioning that the Upgrade Program on Flipkart in partnership with Flipkart Smart Upgrade will let you buy the X7 5G at rupees 13,999 and 15,399, while the X7 Pro 5G will be available at 20,999.

Running Android 10 based-Realme UI, the Realme X7 5G comes with 6.4-inch Super AMOLED

screen and full HD resolution. It also has 600 nits of screen brightness. In addition to 5G dual SIM dual standby feature, the smartphone includes MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset that is made using TSMC's 7nm process technology.

In terms of camera, the X7 5G has three sensors at the back consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 119-degree FoV and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It also has a 4310mAh battery that supports 50W SuperDart fast charging technology. It is claimed to deliver 50% charge in 18 minutes and 100% charge in 47 minutes.

The more powerful Realme X7 Pro 5G has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a maximum brightness of 800 nits and a peak brightness at 1200 nits. Powered by Dimensity 1000+, the X7 Pro 5G has a quad-camera setup at the back. The setup includes an upgraded 64-megapixel wide-angle primary camera along with a 2-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 119 degrees FoV, 2-megapixel black and white portrait camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is also a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie lovers.

Backing the entire device is a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart fast charging technology. This is claimed to deliver 100% charge in just 35 minutes. The smartphone runs on Android 10 based Realme UI and is upgradeable to Realme UI 2.0.
