Last week Xiaomi confirmed that it will be launching the much-anticipated Redmi K40 smartphone series in homeground China, on February 25th. Now, the firm has dropped the first teaser of the device, revealing the entire rear camera design setup. Posted on the Weibo account, the teaser post includes two images. While the first one shows an almost similar design as the Mi 11, including three cameras, the second image clearly shows the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The AI triple rear camera has rounded corners and is rumoured to include a 108-megapixel primary sensor. It is not for sure what the second sensor specialises in.

In the past, Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing has already confirmed that K40 Pro will start at 2,999 yuan and the regular K40 will be cheaper.

Redmi K40 is teased to feature the smallest punch-hole camera ever on a smartphone. We might also see a FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 1200 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The ‘Pro' model might be the one with Snapdragon 888.

These two handsets were seen listed alongside a new variant of Mi 10 smartphone. The handset looks like the Mi 10 Ultra but with a slightly shorter and smaller body. There have been reports of a Mi 10 Lite in the works but nothing is confirmed yet.
