Redmi Note 10 series users have been complaining about touchscreen issues

A few Redmi Note 10 series users have taken to social media to complain about touchscreen issues and screen flickering issues. Most of these issues are happening while the user is trying to type on the device.

Many Redmi Note 10 series users have been complaining about issues with their smartphones, particularly with the screen. The Redmi Note 10 series was launched in March this year and included the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Redmi Note 10. Some of the first people who bought the Redmi Note 10 series are now reporting touchscreen issues with their phones, screen flickering, and the also that the handsets are slowing down. As per complaints, these issues are being reported across all three models.

Redmi India has acknowledged the issues but the company said that only 0.001% of users have been affected by these troubles and that they are working on a solution for it.

People who have bought the Redmi Note 10 range have been tweeting about their problems. Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 users have been complaining that they are facing issues with the phone's touch response and others have claimed that their handsets have sporadically been unresponsive. Some other users have been facing problems while typing on their units, while another user complained that his Redmi Note 10 had become very slow.

However, there doesn't seem to be an easy fix yet. One user who claimed to have gotten his phone replaced posted that the new unit also had the same touch issues. The user mentioned that when he alerted the service center about the issue the second time he was told to wait for a couple of months for a software fix.

The company has acknowledged the issue and has released a statement addressing the matter. “We are aware of the issues that a few users are facing on Redmi Note 10 Pro. These issues have been reported by less than 0.001% of (Redmi) Note 10 series user base. We are working to find a solution at the earliest. As a committed brand, our endeavor is to continue delivering on our consumer expectations,” the company said in the statement.

Besides issues with the touchscreen and the handsets slowing down, some Redmi Note 10 Pro users have also been complaining about a screen flickering issue. One user pointed out that this screen flickering was more prominent when the refresh rate was set to 120Hz. According to this same user, the flicker issue disappeared when the refresh rate was set at 60Hz. Another user pointed out that the flicker issue was more prevalent in the dark mode.

"Our devices go through rigorous tests with a 10-point quality check, to ensure that we meet the highest quality standards. We are looking into the matter on top priority and regret the inconvenience caused to our consumers,” the company spokesperson added. They have also reached out to users on Twitter asking them to get in touch with their complaints via DMs.
