According to reports from one @omegaleaks on Twitter, Apple is going to launch a sub-$600 iPhone this year and that is going to be the LTE, or a 4G, version of the entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12. This entry-level smartphone might cost $549 ( 42,000 approx). This also points to the possibility that Apple is going to launch the iPhone 12 series in five different price brackets.

This report adds more weight to what tipster Jon Prosser suggested on Twitter back in April. Prosser had tweeted that the iPhone 12 series is going to be priced starting from $649 and have devices priced at $749, $999 and $1,099.

Apple is scheduled to launch the iPhone 12 series sometime in September this year.

So far we know that there will be three sizes and five variants of the iPhone 12, adding @omegaleaks’ tip. There is going to be one LTE-only 5.4-inch iPhone 12 with dual cameras for $549, a 5G 5.4-inch iPhone 12 for $649, a 5G 6.1-inch for $749, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 for $999 with three cameras and a 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max for $1,099. The higher variants are all going to come with 5G support.

Going by this, the cheapest iPhone 12 should be priced around 42,000, or lesser when it is launched in India. That makes it cheaper than the current 64GB iPhone SE that Apple just launched.
