If you want to trade-in an old smartphone for a new purchase of the iPhone 13, you need to choose the iPhone variant you want to buy (on the Apple online shop) and select the Trade-in option. While booking the phone, users will have to answer a few questions about their current smartphone. Apple will then give an estimated trade-in value and apply it as instant credit towards the purchase. Once you place your new iPhone 13 order, the courier will confirm the date and time of the doorstep delivery and trade-in exchange.

If you are trading in your old smartphone for an iPhone 13 model, you need to prepare it for exchange. Before the iPhone 13 arrives, you will need to get the current smartphone ready. The delivery executive will run diagnostic tests and verify that your old smartphone works. You are advised to back up your data. Make sure you have your Apple ID and Password ready so that the Find My iPhone can be turned off after the exchange gets a green signal.

On the day of delivery, the executive will inspect the device and run a quick diagnostic test. Once the verification is completed, the trade-in will be completed and the buyer will get a new iPhone. Apple is offering up to ₹46,120 in exchange for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. By contrast, you can get up to ₹43,255 and up to ₹31,120 if you exchange your iPhone 12 Pro or the iPhone 12, respectively. The iPhone 12 mini will get you up to ₹25,565 in trade-in. In the Android land, you can get up to ₹13,085 off with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus.
