Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A72 to feature 90Hz, 120Hz displays
This would be the first time a non-flagship Samsung phone is getting screens with higher refresh rates.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 smartphones will reportedly feature 90Hz and 120Hz displays, respectively. This is the latest in a series of leaks on the upcoming Galaxy A phones.
According to a report by Sam Mobile, Galaxy A52 5G will feature a 90Hz display. The Galaxy A72 will have a 90Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz refresh rate as well. This would be the first time a non-flagship Samsung phone is getting screens with higher refresh rates. Samsung has so far kept this for the Galaxy S and Note phones.
The report also adds that Galaxy A52 5G will launch in two variants of 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 750G processor, and it will feature a 6.5-inch full HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display. Its quad rear camera setup will most likely include a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth camera, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, Galaxy A52 5G is said to feature a 32-megapixel front camera. The smartphone will most likely run Android 11 with One UI 3.1 out-of-the-box.
As for the Galaxy A72, the 4G variant is said to launch with 8GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, and a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. Its camera configuration could be the same as Galaxy A52 5G.
Both the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 also feature a similar design based on leaked renders. The smartphones have been spotted with an Infinity-O punch-hole camera,and vertically stacked rear cameras. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 next month.
