Samsung Galaxy A72 4G gets closer to official launch
Samsung will soon launch a mid-range Galaxy A72 smartphone. Here’s what you need to know.
Samsung Galaxy A72 4G is inching closer to the official launch. Even though there is no official launch date yet, a support page for the phone has gone live on Samsung's official Russian site.
The listing on the support page doesn’t reveal a lot of details about the phone but confirms SM-A725F/DS model number.
Samsung Galaxy A72 has leaked multiple times in recent weeks. The phone is said to be available in 5G and 4G versions.
According to reports, Samsung Galaxy A72 will come with Android 11 out-of-the-box. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor.
The smartphone will reportedly come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout on the front. It will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille at the bottom, akin to Samsung’s other Galaxy phones.
The phone will reportedly feature a quad-camera setup. It is said to have a combination of 64-megapixel, 12-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and 5-megapixel sensors.
Samsung Galaxy A72 is expected to launch later this month. The phone is said to be priced around ₹50,000.
Apart from Galaxy A72, Samsung is also working on a Galaxy A52. The phone will reportedly come with Android 11, Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and 6GB of RAM.
Leaked renders of the Galaxy A52 5G reveal it has a single punch-hole camera on the Galaxy A52 5G with the power and volume buttons on the side. The smartphone also has a quad-camera setup. It will feature a plastic body with a glass-like finish and a metallic frame on the sides. Galaxy A52 5G will also offer a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
