Samsung Galaxy A82 5G could launch soon
Samsung mentions the handset on its official update tracking website.
Samsung is yet to launch the Galaxy A82 5G. The phone has now got an official mention by the company on the official update tracking website. The mention suggests the phone will launch sooner than expected. It is worth noting that the A82 5G is said to be the global version of the Korea-exclusive Galaxy Quantum 2.
Samsung’s Galaxy Quantum 2 comes equipped with the world’s smallest quantum random number generator (QNRG) chipset. “This QRNG chipset allows smartphone holders to use services that require security in a more safe and secure manner by generating unpredictable and patternless true random numbers,” South Korea’s SK Telecom explained in a statement.
The handset comes with a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy Quantum 2 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also houses a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. It features a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
In the photography department, the Galaxy Quantum2 comes with a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel secondary camera, and a 5-megapixel tertiary camera. For selfies, the Galaxy Quantum2 offers a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
On the software front, Galaxy Quantum2 has Android 11-based One UI out-of-the-box. The Galaxy Quantum2 is available for KRW 699,600 ( ₹47,200 approximately).
Separately, Samsung has partnered with South Korean skincare and makeup brand Laneige to launch a special edition of the Galaxy Buds Pro. Called Galaxy Buds Pro Laneige Neo Cushion, is priced at 199,000 Korean won ( ₹13,100 approximately).
