Samsung Galaxy F62 will launch in India today
The Galaxy F62 is the second F-series smartphone from Samsung. The new phone is confirmed to come with a 7,000mAh battery and Exynos 9825 processor.
Samsung will launch a new smartphone in India today. Called Galaxy F62, the phone will be unveiled at 12 noon. The company is hosting a virtual launch event, which will be live-streamed on Samsung.com, Samsung India's YouTube channel and Flipkart.
Ahead of the official launch, Samsung Galaxy F62 has already been listed on Flipkart. The listing gives a closer look at the design of the phone. It also reveals some of the key specifications of the phone. According to the official poster, Samsung Galaxy F62 will have a square camera module on the back with four sensors. There is also an LED flash below the module. On the front, it has a punch-hole camera at the top centre.
As far as specifications go, Samsung has already confirmed the smartphone will come with a 7,000mAh battery. It will also run on the Exynos 9825 processor that is based on the 7nm process. It is coupled with Mali G76 GPU. Other confirmed features of the phone are sAMOLED display and 64-megapixel primary camera.

The upcoming Galaxy F62 will also be a mid-range smartphone as it will be targeted at the ₹20,000-25,000 price segment. The Galaxy F62 will compete with Mi 10i (Xiaomi), Vivo V20 SE, and Oppo Reno 3 Pro and other top mid-range phones in the market.
The Galaxy F62 is also Samsung's second smartphone in the new F-series. Samsung had debuted the new smartphone series with the Galaxy F41 in October last year.
Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ sAMOLED Infinity U display. It has a 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. The phone features a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view and a 5-megapixel depth lens for the portrait shots. Galaxy F41 runs on an Exynos 9611 Octa-core processor. Galaxy F41 comes with 64GB/128GB internal memory and is expandable up to 512GB via microSD. The phone launched in India for a starting price of ₹16,999.
