Samsung Galaxy F62 to feature 64MP quad camera
Samsung has so far confirmed Galaxy F62 will come with the Exynos 9825 chipset, a 7,000mAh battery and an sAMOLED+ display.
Samsung earlier this week announced it will launch the Galaxy F62 smartphone in India on February 15. The company has now confirmed one key specification of the Galaxy F62.
Samsung's Galaxy F-series is exclusive to the e-commerce platform Flipkart. A teaser page for the Galaxy F62 on Flipkart highlights some of the key specs of the smartphone. The latest reveal is a 64-megapixel camera on the Galaxy F62. It will feature a quad-camera setup at the rear in total. Samsung hasn't revealed the other sensors of the phone yet.
It has so far confirmed the 7nm Exynos 9825 processor for the Galaxy F62. This will be paired with a Mali G76 GPU for graphics. The smartphone is also confirmed to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery making it the second phone after the Galaxy M51. Up front, it has a punch-hole display which will have an sAMOLED+ panel. The smartphone is also seen in a gradient green colour.
According to past leaks and rumours, Galaxy F62 is said to feature a 6.67-inch sAMOLED display, and pack 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will come with 128GB of internal storage. In addition to a green colour, Galaxy F62 will be available in blue as well. On the software front, it will run on Android 11-based One UI 3.1. The punch-hole selfie camera is said to be a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Galaxy F62 is the second smartphone from Samsung's Galaxy F-series that it introduced in partnership with Flipkart. This smartphone series debuted in October last year with the Galaxy F41.
