Galaxy M01 Core is Samsung’s new entry-level phone in India, check price and specs
Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is now official. The entry-level phone comes with Dark Mode, up to 2GB of RAM, and up to 32GB built-in storage. The phone is available at a starting price of ₹5,499.
Ahead of the Galaxy M31s launch, Samsung has announced the availability of a new entry-level smartphone. Called Galaxy M01 Core, it is available for a starting price of ₹5,499. The top-end model with 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage is priced at ₹6,499. The phone comes in black, blue, and red colours. You can purchase the phone across Samsung's retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and other e-commerce platforms from July 29.
Samsung in its release said Galaxy M01 Core is its third phone in India this year to be priced under ₹10,000. “As India goes digital, Galaxy M01 Core will ensure easy access to technology for first-time smartphone users. With one of the largest distribution networks of India, Samsung will make Galaxy M01 Core available across every nook and corner of the country,” said the company in a release.

Galaxy M01 Core comes with a 5.3-inch HD+ display. It has a 3,000 mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 11 hours of back up.
Galaxy M01 Core has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone runs on a quad-core MediaTek 6739 processor and comes in two RAM and storage variants - 1+16GB and 2+32GB. On the software front, it has Android Go-based One UI.

Galaxy M01 Core features ‘Intelligent Inputs brings Smart Paste and Suggest Notification'. Galaxy M01 Core also supports Dark Mode, via One UI-based Dark Mode integration.
A ‘Suggest Notification' feature helps users learn about low battery and allows them to open their running apps or add other critical apps in Maximum Power Saving Mode.
‘Smart Paste' helps users to paste the relevant text like pasting the website URL on the web browser, mobile number on phone dialer and email id in the mail application, the company said.
