Samsung Galaxy M31s key specifications revealed ahead of India launch

Samsung Galaxy M31s will launch in India on July 30. The phone is confirmed to come with a 64-megapixel camera and a 6,000mAh battery.

Samsung's long-awaited Galaxy M31s is set to launch on July 30. Ahead of the official launch, Samsung has already revealed a bunch of information about the 6,000mAh battery phone. Now, a new leak has revealed more key specifications of the Galaxy M31s.

According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, Samsung Galaxy M31s will be available in at least two RAM and storage variants – 6GB of RAM with 128GB built-in storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB built-in storage. The 6,000mAh battery will be supported by a 25W Type-C charging. For performance, it will rely on Exynos 9611 processor.

Agarwal has also leaked the camera configuration on Galaxy M31s. According to him, Samsung Galaxy M31s will feature 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2, 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4, and 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4. The phone will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone will have a 6.5-inch sAMOLED display with 407ppi and Infinity-O cutout. It will be available in Mirage Black and Mirage Blue colour options.

The latest leak is in line with the recent reports that had confirmed the presence of Exynos 9611 chipset on the upcoming smartphone. Apart from leaks, Samsung has officially confirmed a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup, 6,000mAh battery, and an AMOLED panel with full HD+ resolution.

Galaxy M31s will succeed the last year's Galaxy M31 which also sported a large 6,000mAh battery. Samsung's upcoming phone will compete with a wide range of under ₹20,000 smartphones including the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Realme is also planning to launch its first-ever 6,000mAh battery phone, Realme C15, in India very soon.
