Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra could debut with an improved 108MP camera
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will debut alongside S21 and S21 Plus early next year. Here is what you need to know about the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung.
Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphones. Dubbed as Galaxy S21, the smartphone series will most likely launch in February next year. Months before the official launch, Samsung Galaxy S21 details have continued to leak online. The latest in the series is about its camera capabilities and charging.
Just like this year, Samsung's Galaxy 21 series will feature an Ultra model that will have high-end specifications. According to new leaks, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a 108-megapixel camera. Samsung will most likely to use its in-house HM2 108-megapixel primary camera sensor in the next flagship. The new sensor will succeed the HM1 sensor. The S21 Ultra is also said to come with a penta-camera setup.
The Power of Exynos allows Galaxy S21 Ultra to have:

1080p 240fps, 4k 120hz, 8k 30fps video recording.
Penta camera system with a HM2 108mp sensor
65w Ultra fast charging while not damaging the 5,000 mah battery
1440p 120 or 144hz display while having impressive battery life.
The leak further says Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with support for 1080p recording at 240fps. It will also support 8K video recording at 30fps. For 4K video recording, it will support 120fps. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to come with a 1440p display. The screen will support either 144Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra appears to be an incremental upgrade over the current S20 Ultra. Available in Cosmic Gray colour option, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch display. It runs on Exynos 990/Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 12GB/16GB of RAM. The phone comes in two storage variants - 128GB and 512GB with an ability to expand up to 1TB. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
The camera setup on the phone features a 108-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture alongside a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor with f/3.5 aperture, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a ToF VGA camera. At the front, there is a 40-megapixel sensor - again a first in any smartphone - with f/2.2 aperture.
