Apple iPhones have often known for their efficiency and how easily they manage the memory to give a high-performance and consistent speed across different apps. Last year, the company’s iPhone 12 Pro Max became one of the most powerful handsets due to its 5nm-based A14 Bionic chipset. However, it’s arch rival from the Android world, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra soon caught up with the times with its 5nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. So, YouTuber put both of these under a machine-operated speed test to check who wins the race and which one easily handles all the heavy apps at one go.

In the starting of the video, we see the iPhone 12 Pro Max kind of lagging behind by a few seconds when it came to loading some heavy apps. While the iPhone went behind in the second app, it made a comeback while rendering a video on Filmora Go app, which was the 7th app in the list. And by 9th app, the iPhone took a lead by split seconds. By the end of the test, the iPhone 12 Pro Max was ahead by good 11 seconds.

Although, in real world, users will hardly notice a difference and light delay in seconds will hardly change anything. But it does show how the iPhone manages to keep the performance consistent and keeps the app opened, making full use of the memory. It somewhere also shows that the Pro Max’s multi-core performance is a tad bit better.

It is worth adding that in the test, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has 6GB RAM, while the S21 Ultra comes with 12GB RAM. The YouTuber even enabled the ‘Enhanced processing’ option in S21 Ultra, which makes the handset faster while using more battery.
