Samsung had announced the Galaxy XCover Pro, the rugged smartphone in January last year and last week the Galaxy XCover 5 was spotted on Geekbench and on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) websites. While these listings suggest that the new device may go official soon, key specs leaked by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore on Twitter have just added to speculations.

According to the specs shared by Ambhore, the Galaxy XCover 5 is going to come with a 5.3-inch display with a HD+ resolution and 1600 x 900 pixels. While the information on Twitter does not mention the SoC on the smartphone, it does mention that it is going to ship with 4GB RAM and 64GB native storage.

The Galaxy XCover 5 is being tipped to come with a 3,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charge. On the camera front, the smartphone is being tipped to carry a 5MP camera for selfies and single 16MP camera on the back.It is also expected to support LTE connectivity and come in Black.

The Geekbench listings had revealed that the Galaxy XCover 5 is going to come with the Exynos 850 chip and Android 11 OS. The FCC listings do not reveal any information on the specs though.
