Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 full specs leak ahead of launch

Samsung is all set to host its biggest Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. It will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 alongside wearables including smartwatches and wireless earbuds.

The big day is here for Samsung fans. The company is all set to unveil the next generation of foldables at its Galaxy Unpacked event today. The company will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 alongside wearables including smartwatches and wireless earbuds. Like the other events, it will be held virtually. However, ahead of the launch, most of the key specifications of both Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have leaked online.

The latest information comes from tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore who took to Twitter to share the specs sheet of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Starting with the Fold 3, it is rumoured to feature a 6.2-inch AMOLED cover display that supports 2262 x 832 pixels resolution, and a 10MP selfie shooter at the top. Unfolding the device is said to lead you to a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED panel that supports a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels. It is tipped to have a 4MP in-screen camera. Both the screens are likely to have a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It could come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The foldable smartphone could pack a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25W charging. In terms of optics, it might have three 12MP cameras on the back.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, it is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display that offers 2640 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. When folded, you'll get a 1.9-inch AMOLED screen that delivers 512 x 260 pixels resolution. While there is a 10MP selfie shooter, you are likely to get a 12MP + 12MP dual rear camera setup. It might be powered by the same Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage while packing a 3,300mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
