Samsung India’s largest store spilled the beans on upcoming premium smartphones

Looks like Samsung India has spilled the beans on the upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S21. The company's India store has confirmed the exact date when the series will be going on sale. It has also confirmed that the smartphones series will be powered by Exynos 2100 instead of Snapdragon 888. And this might not come as good news for several Samsung fans who earlier this year talked a lot about the difference in the performance when it comes to Exynos vs Qualcomm Snapdragon models.

As found by Android Authority, Samsung India's largest store confirmed that the Galaxy S21 series will be going on sale in India starting January 29. This means that the handsets are set to be revealed in first half of January.

This was revealed by the store executives at Samsung's Opera House outlet in Bengaluru.

It is worth adding that the exclusive Samsung store has also started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and the Galaxy S21 Ultra in India. This also reconfirms, the claims made by tipsters on the device variants.

According to the report, you can pre-book the Galaxy S21 handsets by paying ₹2000 and the store will keep you updated with all the details regarding their availability and price. Also, worth mentioning is that those users can select the preferred S21 smartphones after they have been officially announced.

In addition to revealing the release date and the variants, the Samsung India store also revealed the color versions in which the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and the S21 Ultra will arrive. The Galaxy S21 will be available in Gray, Pink, Purple and White whereas the S21 Plus will come in Pink, Purple, Silver and Black. The most powerful Galaxy S21 Ultra will come in Black and Silver.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra, in particular, is set to feature an 108-megapixel primary camera along with a couple of 10-megapixel sensors, one of which will also include a 10x optical zoom along with laser autofocus. There is also said to be a fourth camera sensor as well that is rumored to include a 12-megapixel sensor.
