Vivo is slated to launch its latest V20 smartphone series in India this month. Vivo launched the V20 and V20 Pro recently in Thailand, and the V20 SE in Malaysia. Vivo has already teased the V20 for India but it hasn't confirmed the launch date yet.

Vivo didn't reveal the full specs and pricing of the V20 when it launched. The smartphone has a 44-megapixel selfie camera, and a 64-megapixel rear camera. There's a triple camera setup at the rear. It comes in two colour options of Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody. Vivo V20 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor. Vivo V20 also packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W FlashCharge.

Vivo V20 is also expected to run Android 11 out-of-the-box with Funtouch OS layered on top. It's not confirmed yet if the Vivo V20 ships with Android 11 or it will receive the update in the future. Based on the company's press release, Vivo V20 series runs on Android 11 but it also mentions plans of rolling out Android 11, as 9to5Google spotted.

Vivo has so far only teased the new phone as “coming soon” for the Indian market. According to a report by MSP, Vivo V20 is scheduled to launch in India on October 12. The report adds that Vivo will launch two smartphones from the V20 series. Vivo V20 Pro comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765 processor, 64-megapixel triple rear camera, a 4,000mAh battery and dual selfie cameras. Vivo V20 SE is the base phone in the series with a 44-megapixel triple rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, and a 4,100mAh battery.
