Vivo has launched a new budget smartphone in India. Vivo Y1s comes with a notched display, single rear camera, and a 4,030mAh battery.
Vivo Y1s is priced at ₹7,990 as confirmed by Mahesh Telecom. The official pricing of the phone is yet to be updated on the site. The smartphone comes in two colour options of Aurora Blue which has a gradient finish, and Olive Black. Vivo Y1s can be purchased with a Jio lock-in offer that comes with benefits worth ₹4,550 on recharges of ₹249 and above. Vivo is also offering a 90-day Shemaroo OTT subscription priced at ₹99 and a one-time screen replacement through OneAssist priced at ₹149.
In terms of specs, Vivo Y1s features a 6.22-inch HD+ LCD display with a water drop notch on top. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's Helio P35 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

Vivo Y1s sports a single 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It packs a 4,030mAh battery but there's no fast charging support on the phone. On the software front, Vivo Y1s runs Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10.5 layered on top. Its connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual SIM support.
Vivo is slated to launch a new smartphone in India soon. Vivo V20 Pro is touted to be the company's slimmest 5G phone and it could launch on December 2.
