Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Oh! This is easily the best phone, let alone the best Android flagship on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The performance on this phone is incredible and Samsung has made the most out of it with a clever and near software experience. Be it games or movies, this phone can handle it all, and the S Pen stylus adds an extra touch of flair. Additionally, you will also like it for its Quad HD+ AMOLED display with 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate, a good battery life, and an absolutely brilliant camera system. It starts at Rs. 1,09,999 for its base variant.

Samsung Galaxy S22

For a much lower starting price of Rs. 72,999, the Samsung Galaxy S22 offers a brilliant no-nonsense flagship experience with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip's performance. The performance is on par with the Galaxy S22 Ultra but you get a more practical size and form. The Galaxy S22 also has one of the slimmest display bezels on any smartphone right now. The camera system is reliable and so is the battery life, despite being a compact phone.

iQOO 9 Pro

Starting at Rs. 64,999, the iQOO 9 Pro is currently one of the nicest gaming phones money can buy, courtesy of its well-tuned Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and a very fast 120W charging solution. Its camera system is amazing too, especially what it can do in low light situations. The phone also brings a massive ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an exciting BMW M Motorsport inspired design. Watch out for its erratic software experience though.

Realme GT 2 Pro

Another phone that is marred by its bloatware-ridden software experience. However, at 49,999, the Realme GT 2 Pro is one of the cheapest ways to to experience the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 performance without compromising on niceties. The design is good, and so are its cameras. The phone heats up easily though, its battery life is sub-par and it does not have nicest display around. Lots of caveats on this one.

Xiaomi 12 Pro

The Xiaomi 12 Pro starting at Rs. 62,999 is another good option from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 collection. The performance is decent although the phone heats up fairly easily. Other than that, you get a gorgeous AMOLED display with Quad HD+ display and variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz, a reliable 50MP triple rear camera system, and a fast 120W fast wired charging solution. The battery life suffers though.
