Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro display specs revealed by tipster, QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate tipped

A lot has been said about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphones, Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. The devices are not official but they have been a subject to several rumours and leaks already. And this time tipster Digital Chat Station (via XDA Developers) has got hold of some new information regarding the handsets’ display. As per the tipster, Mi 11 Pro will feature a QHD+ resolution panel along with 120Hz refresh rate. This will bring it at par with the existing 120Hz refresh rate handsets like Oppo Find X2 and OnePlus 8 Pro. This will also be an upgrade from Mi 10 Pro’s FHD+ resolution with 90Hz refresh rate.
Some new display features are also expected to come in Mi 11 Pro. As per the report, some of the features were spotted in MIUI 12 beta code. These include MEMC, SDR-to-HDR upmapping, and AI upscaling.
In case you are wondering, Xiaomi has already brought MEMC tech in several of its smartphones including the Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10T Pro. However, SDR-to-HDR upmapping and AI upscaling will be something new. Some other handsets already have it though.
Some camera details have also been revealed for Mi 11 Pro. As per the tipster Digital Chat Station, the handset is supposed to feature a 50-megapixel main camera along with a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. Also talked about is a camera feature that Xiaomi will probably use in Mi 11 Pro to detect the object in front of the shooter and provide the level of HDR effect using AI capabilities.
