Xiaomi's flagship with unannounced Snapdragon 875 shows up on benchmark website

As for the M2012K11C, the device is rumoured as Xiaomi Mi 11.

Qualcomm is yet to unveil its Snapdragon 875 processor for smartphones but it looks like Xiaomi is already working on a handset with this chipset. There’s no official announcement anywhere but a mere showing up of the product on Geekbench benchmarking website. 

The unknown Xiaomi smartphone has a model number M2012K11C and is also seen running Android 11 OS, has 6GB RAM and a processor, said to be the Snapdragon 875. That’s because the source code mentions Adreno 660, which is rumoured to come embedded in Snapdragon 875 and is not yet available with any other Qualcomm chipsets.

As for the M2012K11C, the device is rumoured as Xiaomi Mi 11. The score achieved by it is 1,105 and 3,512 in single and multi-core performance. Also speculated is that this is a mere prototype and the performance will improve when it finally launches.

Qualcomm is expected to announce its Snapdragon 875 processor on December 1. This is also said to be the company’s first to be made using 5nm process. It is worth adding that Apple became the first to introduce 5nm processor, A14 Bionic in iPhone 12 series followed by Huawei with Kirin 9000 in Mate 40 series. Samsung has already announced an Exynos even for November 12 in China where it is expected to show 5nm-based Exynos 1080, which might debut in Galaxy S21/S30 series next year. MediaTek is also said to be working on the same.

Xiaomi, on the other hand, is expected to bring its 108-megapixel camera tech to Redmi smartphones soon, as per a latest report.
