- Xiaomi is discontinuing the base variants of its Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max launched earlier this year.
- These phones were launched with a 6GB + 64GB base variant, which isn’t available now.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max earlier this year. Both the devices were very well received by the critics as well as the consumers. The phones started at 6GB + 64GB base configuration. However, this base configuration is no longer listed on the company website, which means these devices are no longer being sold in India. The step doesn't come as a surprise since the company is gearing up to launch its Redmi 10 series in India.
Mi.com no longer lists Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max's 6GB + 64GB storage option. On checking Amazon, we found that the particular storage configuration is also missing on the e-seller. For reference, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is available in 6GB + 128GB storage and 8GB + 128GB storage configurations, which are priced at ₹19,999 and ₹21,999 respectively. It sells in Dark Night, Glacial Blue, and Vintage Bronze colour options.
Coming to the Redmi Note 10, the device is available in 6GB + 128GB storage and 8GB + 128GB storage options. These are priced at ₹17,999 and ₹18,999 respectively. The phone sells in Dark Night, Glacial Blue, and Vintage Bronze colour options.
Both the Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. They are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, which is an octa-core chipset. As for the optics, the Note 10 Pro sports a 64MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP quad rear camera setup while its Pro MAx sibling offers a 108MP primary camera. The other set of cameras remain the same. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both the devices pack a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
With the discontinuation of the base variants of the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, the company is making way for its Redmi 10. However, we don't know its launch date yet.
