Apple announces November 10 event, new Macs expected
Apple's upcoming event is titled ‘One More Thing’ and it will be live-streamed from Apple’s Cupertino, California-based headquarters at 10AM PST or 11:30PM IST.
Apple on Monday announced that it would be hosting a special event at Apple Park on November 10. The company's upcoming event is titled ‘One More Thing' and it will be live-streamed from Apple's Cupertino, California-based headquarters at 10AM PST or 11:30PM IST.
Apple didn't reveal as to what devices or services it would be unveiling at its November 10 event. However, word is that the company could launch its Silicon-powered Mac computers at its November event.
Apple announced Apple Silicon back at WWDC 2020. At the time, the company also said that it would slowly move from Intel processors to its ARM chipset in its line of personal computers and laptops. Now, it seems that the company is planning to start this series by launching its ARM-powered Mac computers at its upcoming event.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that we are hearing about the company's November event. Serial tipster Jon Prosser in a report last month had said that Apple would be hosting a special event on November 17 to launch ARM-powered Mac. While the tipster may not have been right about the date, he was certainly right about the event.
To confirm, there IS a November ARM Mac event.— Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser) October 16, 2020
I'm hearing November 17th. 🗓
In addition to Apple Silicon-powered Mac, it is also possible that the company introduces the much-awaited Apple AirTags at its November 10 event. As per a separate report by the tipster, the final testing for the device will be completed by November 6, and that the company would start shipping its Bluetooth tracker within 30 days of that timeline.
Apple hasn't divulged details as to what we should expect. So, for now, all we can do is wait for the event.
