Apple had announced the Fitness+ subscription plan in September this year alongside the new Apple Watch Series 6. The company had mentioned then that the program is going to launch by later this year and now we finally have a date.

Apple's Fitness+ with its guided personalised workouts will be launching on December 14 in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand for starters.

The service is going to be launched for $9.99/month ( 700/month approx) or $79.99/year ( 5,800 approx) in the US. The Apple Fitness+ service can be shared with up to six family members.

It can also be bundled in with the Apple One Premier plan which is priced at $29.95/ month ( 2,200 approx).

Apple Fitness+ is basically a paid fitness service that is designed to work with the Apple Watch. It will offer 10 types of workouts including high intensity interval training (HIIT), yoga, dance, strength, core, cycling, rowing, treadmill and mindful cooldown.

To go with these routines, the Apple Store is now offering workout equipment like the Manduka Performance Yoga mat for $119.95 ( 8,841 approx), a $77.95 eKOlite mat ( 5,745 approx) and a $19.95 cork yoga block ( 1,470 approx).

None of these accessories are branded by Apple but they are available on the store along with a host of other health and fitness devices like water bottles and foam rollers etc.

It looks like Apple is going to start stocking up on equipment that goes with the programs offered on Fitness+ to make it easier for users to buy.
