Forget iOS 16.2, iOS 16.3 public beta is already here

After releasing the iOS 16.2 update for the iPhone users just a few days ago, Apple has rolled out the first public beta of iOS 16.3. Here is all you need to know.

Apple releases first beta of iOS 16.3 to public beta testers. (HT Tech)

Apple has recently released the iOS 16.2 update for the users of iPhone 8 and above, and now the first beta of iOS 16.3 is out too. The first beta of the iOS 16.3 has been seeded to public beta testers, according to a report by MacRumors. The update is said to be providing the new software to the general public for the first time. Also, as per the information the public betas has been released a day after Apple provided the beta to developers.

Wondering who can download the first public beta of iOS 16.3? The iOS 16.3 beta can be downloaded by the public beta testers who have signed up for Apple's free beta testing program. "Public beta testers who have signed up for Apple's free beta testing program can download the iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 betas over the air after installing the proper certificate from the Public Beta website," MacRumors said in a report.

As every new update brings several changes, updates and bug fixes to the iPhone operating system, iOS 16.3 too is expected to bring some much-needed features. As per the information, the iOS 16.3 update brings support for physical Security Keys, a more streamlined process for transferring a song to a HomePod from an iPhone and vice versa, etc.

Meanwhile, people who have not yet downloaded the iOS 16.2 on their Apple iPhone can do it now. iPhone users can go to Settings, then General and tap on Software Update. After this they will have to click on the download and install option to get their iPhone updated to iOS 16.2.

The iOS 16.2 update brings several new features and updates to your iPhone like a new FreeForm App, which will act as a whiteboard and let users edit the files, and more. Apple Music is getting a new Sing feature which will let users sing along the song of their choice. The other updates include advanced data protection for iCloud, improved lock screen functionality, among others.
