This is not the first Apple service Google is integrating into the system. The company said last week that Apple Music would be available on Google smart speakers soon.

For Apple too this is another instance of stepping out of the ecosystem to other company's devices. Last year, Apple made its TV app available on Amazon's Fire TV devices, and on Roku Inc's platform.

Ans speaking of Apple TV, the company has started offering its users some perks for the holiday season.

Apple TV+ subscribers who have already paid for their annual or monthly plans also have started receiving emails from Apple about monthly credits. Apple has started sending emails out to Apple TV+ subscribers informing them that they will be credited $4.99 ( 371 approx) for each month subscribed through January 2021.

This amount varies based on Apple TV+pricing in other countries so it's $5.99 ( 446 approx) in Canada and $7.99 ( 595 approx) in Australia.

This credit will be applied to the user's Apple ID and can be used for games, movies or other Apple services as you choose. Apple said in the email that this is their way of thanking subscribers for using their services.
