Lost your Aadhaar card? Here’s how to get your EID or UID number
You can retrieve your EID or UID number using the mAadhaar app.
Aadhaar is one of the most important documents in India. It not only serves as a proof of address but also of identity. It can also be used as proof while opening bank accounts and even while making a passport. If you have lost your Aadhaar card or if you don't remember your Enrollment number (EID) or Aadhaar number (UID), don't worry we have you covered. Here's a guide using which you can get your UID or EID.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can get your Enrollment number (EID) or Aadhaar (UID) using the Aadhaar website:
Step 1: First, visit the official Aadhaar website.
Step 2: Now, select the My Aadhaar option.
Step 3: Next, select Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID option.
Step 4: Now, you will see two options: Retrieve Aadhaar Number (UID) and Retrieve Aadhaar Enrolment Number (EID). Select any one option.
Step 5: Now enter all the details such as name, mobile number, email id, and captcha code.
Step 6: Click on Send OTP option. Then enter the 6-digit OTP or 8-digit TOTP that is sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 7: Click on the Login button.
Your Aadhaar number or your Enrollment number will be sent your registered mobile number.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can get your Enrollment number (EID) or Aadhaar (UID) using mAadhaar app:
Step 1: Download mAadhaar app from Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.
Step 2: Register your mobile number.
Step 3: Now, tap Retrieve EID or UID option.
Step 4: Next, select the Aadhaar Number/ Enrolment Number option. Enter all the details such as your name, mobile number and email id.
Step 5: Enter the Captcha code option and tap the Request OTP option.
Step 6: Enter the OTP that you receive on your registered mobile number.
Now, your Aadhaar number or Enrollment number will be displayed on your smartphone screen.
