OnePlus 7 series is set to launch in India on May 14. This year OnePlus will introduce two new flagship phones, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The Pro model, as the name implies, promises better features. But you may have to pay premium for the best version of OnePlus 7 Pro.
According to latest leak, OnePlus 7 Pro's top-end model will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage and may cost $819 (₹57,000 approximately). The phone is expected to be available in two more models - 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The mid variant is expected to cost $749 (₹52,000 approximately).
If the latest leak is to be believed, OnePlus 7 Pro 12GB model could be one of the most expensive OnePlus phones ever. The pricing strategy also hints at OnePlus' attempt to compete with cheaper flagship phones launched by Samsung (Galaxy S10e) and Apple (iPhone XR). It is worth noting that Google is also working on a cheaper Pixel 3 phone, dubbed as Pixel 3a.
OnePlus 7 Pro is set to be a big upgrade with big improvements to the screen design, performance, and camera. According to rumours thus far,OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a dual-curved screen, akin to Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10. It is also expected to come with a triple-rear camera setup including a big 48-megapixel sensor. Other two sensors are expected to be telephoto and ultra-wide angle lenses.
OnePlus fans can also expect an improvement in the battery department. The latest smartphone is likely to come with 4,000mAh battery with faster 30W Warp Charge technology. There will also be a 5G version of the phone but it's unlikely to debut in India anytime sooner.
