Samsung Galaxy View 2 leak reveals hinged stand, 17.5-inch display
Samsung Galaxy View 2 leaked renders show a redesigned built-in stand with hinged mechanism and hole at the centre.
Samsung could soon upgrade its giant tablet, Galaxy View after over three years. The new Galaxy View 2 appears in a new leak revealing its complete design.
The new Galaxy View 2 will feature a better designed built-in stand as compared to its predecessor, Sam Mobile reports. According to the leaked renders Galaxy View 2 carries the same large display and a built-in stand. The main difference lies in the design of the built-in stand as mentioned above.
In the Galaxy View 2, Samsung uses a hinged stand which has a cleaner and more comfortable look. This stand when closed sits at 30 degrees, and opens upright which makes it ideal for typing on it. There's also a hole at the centre of the Galaxy View 2's built-in stand. Samsung had integrated a handle in the Galaxy View. The tablet appears to have slightly slimmer bezels too.
While this is the closest 'official' look of the Galaxy View 2, its specifications have been leaked already. Galaxy View 2 is expected to feature a 17.5-inch display, which would be smaller than the 18.5-inch screen on the Galaxy View. The tablet could be powered by in-house Exynos 7885 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
Galaxy View 2 will reportedly launch on AT&T network in the US. A Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy View 2 is also said to come soon. The tablet already received Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification last year but its launch hasn't been confirmed ever since. With the new leaked renders, Samsung could make the tablet official soon.
