Windows has decided to bring Windows 11's new printing capabilities to its older operating system, Windows 10. A PIN can now be added to a print job with the new Windows 10 printing interface. A print job that has a PIN attached to it won't publish until the PIN is entered on the printer. This is one of the new techniques for preventing double connections and incorrect prints. According to Microsoft, PIN integration could reduce paper and toner waste. Users will also benefit from greater security and privacy at the same time, especially in settings with several printers.
