Windows has decided to bring Windows 11's new printing capabilities to its older operating system, Windows 10. What's new for Windows 10 users
A PIN can now be added to a print job with the new Windows 10 printing interface. A print job that has a PIN attached to it won't publish until the PIN is entered on the printer. This is one of the new techniques for preventing double connections and incorrect prints. According to Microsoft, PIN integration could reduce paper and toner waste. Users will also benefit from greater security and privacy at the same time, especially in settings with several printers.

Microsoft is also integrating support for the Print Support App (PSA) platform into Windows 10 for enterprise customers. This enables businesses to enhance the print experience by adding features and print workflows without installing any new drivers. With the release of Build 19044.1806 (KB5014666), which is accessible in the Release Preview Channel, Windows 11's new printing functionality will be coming to Windows 10. This latest update also added a new feature that will let you receive important notifications even when you will keep the Do Not Disturb mode or Focus assist on Windows 10.
Besides these, Microsoft is planning to launch a new version 22H2 Windows 10 with several new features and improvements. Earlier, Microsoft had confirmed that it will support Windows 10 until October 2025.
