Xiaomi’s Smarter Living event on August 26 to see the launch of Mi Tv 5X, Mi Band 6, and more
Xiaomi also might launch the Mi NoteBook lineup at the same Smarter Living event.
Xiaomi’s Smarter Living event is scheduled for August 26 and this event is going to see the company launch a whole bunch of devices across categories. The event is going to kick off at 12 PM (IST) and Xiaomi has confirmed that it is going to launch the Mi Band 6. The Mi NoteBook lineup might also be introduced at this event along with the Mi TV 5X. As the name suggests, the Mi TV 5X is the successor to the Mi TV 4X that was launched here in 2019 and reports have it that this is going to be an India-first device.
Mi TV 5X: What we know so far
The teaser page shared by Xiaomi on the Mi TV 5X reveals a metallic casing and besides this, the audio performance of the TV is expected to be one of the key highlights of the product as Xiaomi says that it comes with the “best Dolby has to offer”. The Mi TV 5X is also going to come with a new generation of PatchWall UI and far-field mics powered by the Google Assistant.
Mi Band 6: What we know so far
The Xiaomi Smarter Living event is going to see the launch of the new Mi Band 6. This wearable was launched n China in March this year along with the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G devices and it is finally making its way to India. In China, the Mi Band 6 was launched at a starting price of CNY 299 ( ₹2,500 approx). There was also a special edition of the Mi Band 6 with NFC that was launched for CNY 279 ( ₹3,000 approx). We expect the India prices to be roughly around the same ballpark.
Mi NoteBook series: What we know so far
Xiaomi might also launch the Mi NoteBook lineup at the Smarter Living event. There’s not much we know about the laptop yet and Xiaomi has been teasing a feature at a time. Most recently the company confirmed that the Mi NoteBook is going to be made with Aerospace-grade Series 6 Aluminum Alloy.
