Tech Wrap: EU probes Google-Fitbit deal, Android’s Airdrop alternative & more

The European Union is launching an in-depth antitrust investigation into Google's $2.1 billion plan to acquire Fitbit despite the search giant’s promise to not use the fitness tracker’s data for ads. Meanwhile, Google is rolling out the Airdrop-like ‘Nearby Share’ feature for Android as well as an encrypted vault within its Files app to save private files.
