Apple Glasses have been rumoured for months now and the product is expected to launch between 2021 and 2022. A new leak now suggests that there will be a “Steve Jobs Heritage Edition” of the Apple Glasses.

This comes from serial leaker Jon Prosser who mentioned this bit during a podcast for Cult of Mac. Prosser said Apple is working on a prototype for the Steve Jobs edition and it will apparently be similar to the $10,000 Apple Watch Edition.

This special Apple Glasses edition will offer the same design as Steve Jobs’ rimless glasses. Other than the design, Prosser couldn’t delve much into the AR features this edition of the Apple Glasses would offer.

Prosser had however earlier said that the Apple Glasses will arrive by next year. He suggests the launch timeline will fall between March and June 2021. This is actually different from what Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted. According to Kuo, Apple will release its smart glasses earliest by 2022. He also said that the Apple Glasses will feature a high-resolution display and have a light-weight design.

Apple Glasses have been the company’s best kept secret so far. But Prosser said he would be revealing them very soon. He’s already seen the Apple Glasses and said they look “sleek as hell”.
