The new colours however, won’t come as a surprise as the company’s Beats over-the-ear Solo and Studio headphones usually come in different colours and pattern designs.

Apple-owned Beats audio company is being rumoured to go ‘colourful' this year with rumoured PowerBeats Pro wireless earbuds. ‘Colourful' because the buds are said to come in cloud pink, glacier blue, spring yellow, and lava red, as per a Weibo post (via iMore) by WaveTech. The 2019 version of the PowerBeats Pro comes in black, ivory, moss and navy, which are more subdued colours as compared to the bright, spring-themed colours rumoured for this year's version.

It is being assumed that the upcoming PowerBeats earbuds might be the ‘PowerBeats Pro 2' that were spotted in regulatory documents weeks ago. On the inside, these might come with minor updates.

Apple's Beats has already expanded its audio line up with PowerBeats 4 or the ‘2020' version of PowerBeats. Launched in March this year, the wired earbuds are claimed to feature an improved battery life of up to 15 hours as compared to the PowerBeats 3 and have IPX4 rating, which makes them sweat and water resistant. Like the PowerBeats Pro, the PowerBeats too features Apple's H1 chip, which makes it possible for users to give ‘Hey Siri' voice commands.

In addition, Apple is heavily rumoured to be working on its over-the-ear headphones, which might be called as AirPods Studio. It may also come with head, neck detection and equaliser settings. The headphone might upgrade the ear detection feature to work for the head and the neck. As per a report by Bloomberg, the headphones may have magnetic modular design as well.
