The update will onboard a slew of new features and upgrades that will make for a whole new experience for users. To let you understand how the new features would make the Apple Watch better for lots of people, we have curated the list of all the features here. Have a look. ### Health and fitness tracking will get better! Fitness and health tracking are one of the core uses of the Apple Watch and this part is going to get better with watchOS 9! It is not just adding a new workout type but adding more workout metrics in general for extensive health tracking. You will have custom workout options which will let you create your own workouts in the Workout app. You can even structure the intervals such as sets of exercises or rest. ### Medications will be easier Along with fitness, taking care of your health will be easier with an Apple Watch. With the new Medications app, you will avoid accidentally mixing anything! Instead, you save, list and schedule the reminder for your medicines, just with the app. Big help for those who keep on forgetting about their medication! Apple mentioned there will be four whole new fresh faces with watchOS 9 such as astronomy face, Lunar calendar, Play Time, and Metropolitan face. Also, the Dock is much more intuitive which will make it much easier to switch between apps when you want to. ### Heart tracking with AFib data With watchOS 9, users who are diagnosed with AFib can turn on the FDA-cleared AFib History feature and get all the important information, such as estimate of how frequently a user’s heart rhythm shows signs of AFib while providing deeper insights into the condition. ### And there's a lot more! From better sleep tracking features to heart rate tracking, your Apple Watch is going to have an ample amount of features to keep updating you about your health. Besides this, quick actions, Apple watches mirroring, and new APIs are some of the other listed features for the Apple Watch that will come with the new watchOS 9.
