Google makes India debut in the audio segment with Pixel Buds A-Series: Check out price, specs

Sure, the Google Pixel 5a might not be coming to India, but there is something still on the cards for Google's India fans. Google has announced the Pixel Buds A-Series in India marking its entry into the personal wireless audio segment in the country. The Pixel Buds A-Series comes with hands-free Google Assistant support, real-time translation, etc, and promises a premium audio experience.

The Pixel Buds A-series sports custom-designed 12 mm dynamic speaker drivers along with Bass Boost that works on amplifying deep frequencies. Google said it has scanned thousands of ears to make Pixel Buds A-Series a comfortable, secure fit. These true wireless earbuds also have a spatial vent that reduces in-ear pressure and keeps the fit comfortable over time. Also, each earbud connects individually to the main device.

The Pixel Buds A-Series sports an Adaptive Sound tech, which increases or decreases the volume based on the surroundings. For clear phone calls, the Google Pixel Buds A-Series uses beamforming mics to focus on the voice and reduce outside noise. It also allows users to quickly switch back to listening to music after the call is over with a simple “Ok Google, play my music” command.

The Google Pixel Buds A-Series promises to deliver up to five hours of listening time on a single charge or up to 24 hours using the charging case. A 15 minutes rest in the charging case promises to provide users up to three hours of listening time. The earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, so they can survive your gym workouts or a run in the rain.

The Google Pixel Buds A-Series has the built-in Google Assistant and it can be accessed hands-free to check the weather, change the volume on the buds, etc. On these buds, you also get real-time translation in more than 40 languages including Bengali, Tamil, and Hindi while using Google Pixel or any other smartphone running Android 6 and higher. All that you need to do to use this is to say “Ok Google, help me speak (name of the language)” to start a conversation.

Pixel Buds A-Series will work with any phone running Bluetooth as standard wireless earbuds, and features like the Google Assistant, Fast Pair, Find my Device, Adaptive Sound, and more work on all Pixel and Android devices running Android 6.0 and up.
