HTC's wireless earbuds will sit in the charging case horizontally.
HTC is back in action. Last month we heard reports about HTC planning to launch a new smartphone soon. And now a new report hints that the company could launch wireless earbuds soon.
Images of HTC's U Ear wireless earbuds have been spotted on the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) website. The images, that come as a courtesy of Slash Leaks give us a glimpse of how the company's TWS earbuds would look like.
As per the images shared by the tipster, HTC's U Ear earbuds would look a lot like Apple's AirPods. They sport rounded corners and will be available in glossy black finish. The images also reveal that the company's earbuds will be cased inside a squarish case where they sit horizontally, which is different from how Apple AirPods sit inside their charging case.
Beyond the design, the images don't reveal any other detail about HTC's wireless earbuds. We know anything about the device's battery life, pricing or launch date yet. We will update you as soon as we have more details.
Separately, the company is also planning to launch a new smartphone. According to a report by tipster LlabTooFeR, the company could launch the HTC Desire 20 Pro soon. The phone is likely to feature a design that is a mix of the OnePlus 8 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 and come with 6GB of RAM.
