Huawei launches Freebuds 4i with 10mm drivers, active noise reduction and more

They can be pre-ordered from Vmall in China and will start shipping from March 8.

Huawei has just launched its Huawei Freebuds 4i True Wireless Stereo earphones in China. These come as successors to Huawei Freebuds 3i. it is not for sure when these buds will be launching in India or globally. The Freebuds 4i is priced at CNY 499 (roughly 5,600) and comes in Carbon Crystal Black, Ceramic White and Honey Red color options.

They can be pre-ordered from Vmall in China and will start shipping from March 8. The new earbuds have 10mm moving coil drivers and Bluetooth version 5.2 support. In addition, you get active noise reduction and dual microphones for taking calls. The Freebuds 4i supports touch input so it is possible to double tap to control your music, answer or reject calls. You can also long press to switch between noise reduction, ambient sound transmission and off mode.

The earbuds are backed by a 55mAh battery and additional 215mAh battery in the charging case. These are claimed to last for 7.5 hours with noise reduction and 10 hours without noise reduction.

Also mentioned is that it takes almost an hour to charge from zero to full when inside the case and the case takes 90 minutes. In addition, a 10 minute charge can deliver up to four hours of battery, as per Huawei.

The Freebuds 4i comes with low latency for gaming and also supports a quick connection feature that connects the earbuds to a previously paired device as soon as the case is opened.

While each earbud weighs 5.5 grams, the case weighs 36.5 grams.
