Jabra Elite 4 Active TWS earbuds launch in India, promise 7 hours of playback
In an ever expanding market of TWS earbuds, Jabra adds another name to its diverse lineup. Called the Jabra Elite 4 Active, it costs ₹10,999 and it intention is to offer a more comfortable fit with a wing-free design. It goes on sale in the first week of January 2022 and will be available via Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance and Jabra authorized resellers.
The Elite 4 Active comes in three colours: Navy, Mint, and Black. Jabra says that it has done the design in a way that “guarantees a unique, secure fit, designed to stay in while you work out.” In essence, the earbuds have a wing-free design. The earbuds also carry an IP57 protection rating, which Jabra says protects them from water and sweat.
Jabra Elite 4 Active features
Other than the design, there're some serious improvements made to the audio front. As with most earbuds in this price range, the Elite 4 Active comes with the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature. Jabra does not mention the exact dB levels but you also get a ambient listening mode, which Jabra calls the HearThrough technology.
The Elite 4 Active features 6mm drivers and offers customisable equaliser settings to play with (via the Jabra app). There's a 4-mic call technology for improved noise isolation and better voice reception while taking calls. The earbuds also allow you the versatility of using them in stereo mode, or put one in the box and use the other one as a mono earbud.
Jabra has baked support for Alexa as well as Spotify Tap playback. The earbuds also support Google Fast Pair, which means the pair connects to all your Android devices seamlessly once registered on your Google account.
Lastly, the earbuds promise a playback time of 7 hours on a single charge. With the case included, you can expect to go up to 28 hours of usage on a single charge.
