Poco crowdsources the name of its upcoming truly wireless earbuds

Poco wants you to choose between Poco Move Buds, Poco Klip Buds, Poco Pop Buds, and Poco Funkz.

Poco is launching new audio devices soon (Poco)

Poco, now an independent brand of Xiaomi, had already confirmed plans to expand into verticals such as audio. The company will enter the segment with wireless earbuds. Ahead of the official launch, Poco has launched a new campaign to crowdsource the name of its TWS earbuds. 

“Hey POCO fans, couple of weeks ago we asked you which product we should bring next and you chose TWS (Earbuds). We're happy to announce that we're a step closer in making it a reality & we want your help in choosing a name for it. Vote and let's know what we should call it,” wrote Poco India GM C Manmohan in a tweet.

Manmohan also posted the possible names for the new product – Poco Move Buds, Poco Klip Buds, Poco Pop Buds, and Poco Funkz. The names also suggest that Poco will be launching the TWS earbuds in multiple colours. 

Poco's new audio device is going to compete with Realme's Realme Buds which also come in multiple colour options. Realme Buds Air is available in India for ₹3,999. Poco is likely to target the same price bracket.

The latest development comes at a time when Poco is rumoured to be prepping a new phone for the Indian market. Dubbed as Poco M2 Pro, details about the phone are sketchy right now.

Poco has also recently launched Poco F2 Pro. With price starting at 499 Euros ( ₹40,733 approximately), Poco F2 Pro comes with a 64-megapixel rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, and a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. It has a 6.67-inch full-screen FHD+ AMOLED and a 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
