Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth gave Twitter followers a sneak peek at the upcoming Realme Buds Air 2 via a video on Monday. The new truly wireless solutions from Realme are going to succeed the Realme Buds Air that were launched in December 2019.

Besides this teaser video, the Realme Buds 2 also appeared in a screenshot “allegedly” shared from the Realme Link app. According to reports, the new TWS earbuds carry a model number RMX2003 that “purportedly appeared” on the website of the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).

The 45-second video shared by Sheth gives a glimpse at the Realme Buds Air 2 and while he does not reveal any concrete specs, some of the features of the buds are suggested.

These features include active noise cancellations (ANC) which was not there on the Realme Buds Air but came with the Realme Buds Air Pro.

The Realme Buds Air 2 are also expected to come with a transparency mode that will allow users to listen to ambient sounds even while music is on. The new buds are also expected to come with some design upgrades over the Realme Buds Air.

GSMArena had shared a screenshot of the Realme Link app that showed the Realme Buds air 2 as supported devices and the buds can be seen on this screenshot in black. It is highly likely that Realme is going to bring the buds in other colours as well, possibly the signature yellow as well.
