Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 with ANC, Bluetooth v5.2 launched: Check specs, price and more
- Samsung has launched the Galaxy Buds 2 that come with the latest connectivity of Bluetooth v5.2. They cost $150 in the US.
Samsung took the virtual stage today to host its biggest Unpacked event of the year. The company announced its next-gen foldable smartphones like the Galaxy Fold 3 and Galaxy Flip 3. Alongside the foldables, Samsung also announced a few smart wearables including the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Buds 2. The Galaxy Buds successor feature AND and are rated to deliver a decent battery life.
The Galaxy Buds 2 will be offered in Graphite, Lavender, Olive, and White colour options. They feature active noise cancellation (ANC) with two microphones dedicated to detecting ambient noise. Moreover, you also get dynamic two-way speakers. There are three adjustable Ambient Sound levels as well. Further, you get Qi-compatible quick wireless charging that is touted to give you 60 minutes of playback with five minutes of charge. Each earbud weighs just 5 grams.
The earbuds are rated to last up to 20 hours with five hours of playback on a full charge with ANC on. The number can be extended up to 29 hours with ANC off. They feature multiple sensors including an accelerometer, proximity sensor, touch pad, ear detection, gyroscope, and magnetic sensor, and come with Bluetooth v5.2. The Galaxy Buds 2 come in four colour options of graphite, olive, white, and lavender. They are priced at $150 in the U.S. and are slated to go on sale from August 27.
Samsung has also announced the launch of its foldables including the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The Fold 3 sports an under-display camera, which is a first on any Samsung smartphone, while the Flip 3 offers a bigger outer display. Both the smartphones offer a 120Hz high refresh rate on their AMOLED displays.
