Samsung’s next pair of wireless earbuds could be called “Galaxy Buds Beyond” and it is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S21 series. Samsung Galaxy Buds Beyond has now received 3C certification in China confirming its existence, and also revealing its battery details.

The model number of the Samsung product on the certification site is EB-BR190ABY which is similar to EB-BR170ABU for the Galaxy Buds Live. The listing reveals that Galaxy Buds Beyond has a battery capacity of 472mAh. This is the same battery capacity of the Galaxy Buds Live. Going by this information, we may not see any upgrade in the battery life of Samsung’s new TWS.

There aren’t many details on the Galaxy Buds Beyond yet but some speculate that it could be an upgrade over the Galaxy Buds Plus and not the Buds Live. The Galaxy Buds Beyond is also said to offer a more traditional design like the Galaxy Buds Plus. Samsung introduced a unique take in design with the Galaxy Buds Live which look like a pair of beans. It’s interesting to see what Samsung has in store this time.

The Galaxy Buds Beyond will most likely launch alongside the Galaxy S21 smartphones. This time Samsung is rumoured to launch its flagship phones a month earlier than the usual launch timeline. The launch date is said to be January 14 according to tipster Jon Prosser. We’ll be seeing three phones in total with the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Reports also suggest Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with support for S Pen marking the end of the Note series.
