Samsung’s Galaxy Watch4 alleged official renders leaked; may be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2021

91Mobiles has shared a bunch of renders of the upcoming smartwatch from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Watch4. These leaked renders are allegedly official ones from the company and they show the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 up close in all its colours. Older rumours had it that Samsung would call the new Galaxy watch the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Active, but these renders indicate that it is going to be called the Samsung Galaxy Watch4. It is being reported that the Galaxy Watch4 may well be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2021, Barcelona on June 28.

The renders also give us an insight into the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Watch4. The back of the watch body carries text that indicates that the watch is going to come in two sizes - 40mm and 44mm. Additionally, the renders contain details like 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G compliance, GPS, Gorilla Glass DX+ protection, etc.

As per the renders, the design on the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 looks different from the Samsung Galaxy Watch3 with its rotating bezel and overall heft. The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 seems to have borrowed the design language from the Samsung Galaxy Watch2 Active and looks sleeker with curvier lines.

The new Samsung watch is going to come with the new unified Wear OS, we are yet to see what that might look like. The renders show off some watch faces but they share no insight into what the underlying software might look like. Google is expected to reveal more about the new unified Wear OS later this year, but we are not sure when that is going to happen. When Samsung launches the Samsung Galaxy Watch4, we should know then. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 should be launched around August this year.
