Apple Watch is one of the best smartwatches in the market. It is also very expensive. The watch is equipped with so many features that there's a world of activities you can do without even needing your iPhone.

Apple Watch lets you read and answer text messages, listen to songs, track your fitness sessions, answer calls, monitor some health parameters and more. But if you wanted to watch YouTube, you had to do it on your iPhone. No more. Now, there's a new app that enables you to watch YouTube from your Apple Watch itself.

The app, called WatchTube, allows users to watch YouTube videos directly from your Apple Watch. Unlike countless other apps which boast of similar functionality, the WatchTube app actually performs its intended function.

According to 9to5Mac, the WatchTube app can be downloaded from the watchOS App Store. Install the app on your Apple Watch and you're good to go as it doesn't require any special settings or configuration.

The app has a very similar interface as the YouTube app and has a dedicated video player. The app has four sections – Home, Search, Library and Settings. The watch also has a trending videos section, exactly like the YouTube app.

The WatchTube app works extremely well with the Apple Watch Series 7 keyboard and it even has dictation and scribble features as search options. It allows users to search and subscribe to channels. You can save videos and watch them later. It also allows users to enable captions, change text size and more.

According to the developers of the WatchTube app, an audio-only mode will be added in the future. This will enable users to listen to songs while keeping the Apple Watch display off, saving the watch's battery.
