Microsoft's Xbox division has launched a new accessory for the Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. The company has launched the Xbox Wireless Headset that is priced at $99 (roughly 7,300) and is already up for pre orders. The shipping for this wireless headphone will begin from March 16 in select regions. As for India availability, the Xbox India website does mention that the wireless headset will be available in the country starting October 5, but the pricing has not been shared yet.

The Xbox Wireless Headset includes 40mm drivers that are said to be made from paper composite diaphragm and neodymium magnet. With a response range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, the headphone supports SBC codec, has USB Type-C port and connects using Bluetooth 4.2.

It also includes a lithium-ion battery that is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of battery life. You can also charge it for 30 minutes to get around four hours of battery. Charging it from zero to full will take around three hours.

To make it work with Windows 10 devices, you would require Bluetooth 4.2 and above device and Xbox wireless adapter or a USB Type-C cable. In addition, some voice chat features require Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold memberships.

Besides supporting a bendable boom design microphone, the wireless headphone has foam cushion and ear cups with oval design along with polyurethane leather and foam. There is also an LED indicator to know if the mic is switched on or off.

There are a bunch of buttons to mute the voice, switch on/off the headphones, balance the audio between game and chat and control the volume. The headset also supports Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, DTS Headphone:X on the Series X, Series S and Xbox One consoles.

It is also possible to adjust the equalizer settings, led brightness, bass boost, mic monitoring and auto mute through the Xbox accessories app.
