Xiaomi Mi Band 5 to launch on June 11
The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will succeed Mi Band 4.
Xiaomi's next generation fitness tracker, Mi Band 5, has been in the news for quite some time now. In the past, reports have not only detailed the features but also the design of the Mi Band 4 successor. Now, a new report details the device's date of launch.
According to a report by GizChina, Xiaomi is planning to launch the Mi Band 5 next month. The report says that Xiaomi made the announcement via its Xiaomi Mall WeChat wherein it said that its next generation fitness tracker would arrive on June 11.
As far as the features are concerned, Mi Band 5 is expected to come with a punch hole display that sits in the middle of the screen at the bottom. The punch hole display is likely to house a camera. It is likely to get a 1.2-inch touchscreen OLED display along with NFC and Google Pay.
In addition to this, Xiaomi's upcoming fitness tracker is also expected to get a SpO2 sensor and a virtual assistant. While the variant that is expected to launch in China is expected to come with the company's XiaoAi, the international variant is expected to feature support for Amazon Alexa.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is expected to be priced at 179 Yuan ( ₹1,840 approximately).
