Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi FlipBuds Pro, its upcoming true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, that are supposed to come with “active noise reduction”. The company shared a poster recently teasing the new product and thanks to that poster we now know that the launch is happening on May 13 (that's tomorrow). Design-wise, the Mi FlipBuds Pro is going to come with a stem and in-ear tips. We know nothing about the price or the availability yet.

Xiaomi shared the name of these new TWS earbuds on Weibo through the Xiaomi Smart Life account and also posted an image of its charging case. Images show a black case with a battery indicator on the front. The launch tomorrow is for China only, there is no information yet if and when Xiaomi is going to release the Mi FlipBuds Pro in other international markets.

So far we know that the Mi FlipBuds Pro will come with active noise reduction of 40dB and we've caught a glimpse of what it is going to look like. The images shared on Weibo show the buds sporting a black finish similar to the charging case. The Xiaomi logo can be seen on the back of the case.

The Mi FlipBuds Pro joins the other TWS solutions Xiaomi has in its arsenal under both the Mi and the Redmi brands. The latest in that lot were the Redmi AirDots 3 TWS that came with aptX Adaptive support and seven hours of battery promise. We've seen that if the buds come under the Mi brand, they usually sport a stem design, while the Redmi buds are more compact. That's also what's going to happen with the Mi FlipBuds Pro.

We'll have to wait and find out if Xiaomi has any plans of launching the Mi FlipBuds Pro here in India. Among the earphone options they have in India, you can take your pick from the Redmi Earbuds S, Redmi Earbuds 2C, the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2C, and the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2. The company did not launch the Redmi AirDots 3 here, but here's hoping that the Mi FlipBuds Pro show up.
