Dyson air purifiers specifications

As far as the features are concerned, the newly launched Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and the Dyson Purifier Cool come with upgraded HEPA filters that are based on the new HEPA H13 standard. Dyson says that this new HEPA filter is capable of capturing H1N1 virus and 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 microns, which includes allergens, bacteria, virus, pollen and mould spores.

Apart from improving the filters, Dyson has also improved the acoustics of its Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and the Dyson Purifier Cool air purifiers. The company said that the new Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and the Dyson Purifier Cool are 20% quieter than their older models. To achieve this noise reduction, the company refined the overall airflow path by widening the aperture or the slot in which the air exits the machine, which reduced the amount of friction between the air and surface of the machine resulting in less sound.

Apart from the above-mentioned features the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and the Dyson Purifier Cool air purifiers come with an Auto Mode that enables the machine to maintain a preferred room temperature and air quality levels. It also has a Night Time Mode that monitors and purifies using its quiet settings with a dimmed display.

Both the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and the Dyson Purifier Cool air purifiers can be controlled using the Dyson Link app, which can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store. Alternatively, they can also be controlled using Google Home, Alexa and Siri compatible devices.

The only difference between the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and the Dyson Purifier Cool air purifiers is that while the Dyson Purifier Cool air purifier is capable of projecting just the cool air, the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool can also project warm air in addition to projecting cool air, which is particularly useful during the winters. Dyson says that its Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool air purifier comes with self-regulating ceramic plates that are positioned at the front of the loop. These ceramic plates heat the air as it leaves the machine. It also comes with a thermostat that automatically stops the heating when the targeted temperature is reached. It also reactivates it automatically to maintain it.
